He was recently nominated for Best African International DJ Award at the Africa Global DJ Awards. He is a graduate of English Language from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Kaduna and also a graduate of advanced DJing from the award winning music production school in London, Point Blank College. He is currently the C.E.O of Da Musik Lab Entertainment.

DJ Gabe had always aspired to be a lawyer but with two of his elder brothers already in the djing business and with an obsession for music and mixing tracks, he took a different path to join in the family business.

At age 15, DJ Gabe began co-djing with his brothers while on holiday from high school at various clubs and events in Zaria, Kaduna and Abuja environs. By the time he got admitted to the University in 2002, he had already carved a name for himself and soon started headlining major gigs at all the social events on the University campus. In 2006, he organized his first major gig tagged “DA LAB DANCE” which drew crowds in the thousands and gave birth to the moniker “Da Musik Dokta”. He was well known for his extensive music knowledge and beat juggling skills which kept people on the dance floor all night long. DJ Gabe will go on to organize two more of these gigs due to popular demand and soon became the most sought after young DJ on campus.

After graduating from the University, DJ Gabe went fully into djing at weddings, private and corporate events, and also providing event consultancy for private individuals. He has played at over 100 wedding events within and outside Nigeria including two wedding events in Budapest and London respectively. In addition, he has been a guest dj on several radio stations including COOL FM Abuja. He partnered with N and K Entertainment to organize “Da Musik Talk” which was sponsored by Mtel, the mobile arm of Nigerian Telecommunications Limited for two straight years.

In 2011, DJ Gabe enrolled at Point Blank College in London in order to improve on his technical skills. Whilst at Point Blank College London, DJ Gabe had the opportunity to dj at several club events and shows including “Da Revolution Show” organized by Metric Entertainment and at Birmingham in 2012 for the D-Boys Entertainment show which featured Ghanaian artiste, Sarkodie.
